制動性能的好壞關系著運行的安全性和效率，經過拆修的制動系統應檢查制動性能是否處于良好狀態。制動液中混入氣體會影響制動性能，在更換零件下、清洗系統后要進行排氣。
1、清除液壓管路、貯油室等處的積垢，加滿制動液。

2、啟動發動機，待空氣壓力表讀數為0.68~0.7MPa后停車、放氣嘴上套入放氣用的透明管，管的另一端放入盛油盤中。

3、連續踏下緊急制動踏板，松開制動踏板。放氣時，還要向貯油室及時補充制動液，以免空氣再度進入系統。

4、制動器的清潔能更好地發揮其制動效能，早期發現故障。經常檢查腳制動系統有無泄漏，各種接頭、連接部分有無松動，總液壓泵液面是否正常，管路是否暢通，無泄漏，檢查橡膠零件是否老化變質。
